What is GreeNUS?

In conjunction with our “Vote for Green Spaces, Better Places!” campaign, we are also another initiative known as GreeNUS.
GreeNUS is a campus-wide photo-taking competition where the theme revolves around green spaces in NUS. The objective of this competition is to encourage the NUS community’s sense of ownership and proactive protection of green spaces in NUS!
Take a leisure tour around the campus and capture photos of scenic green spaces in NUS with your Nokia phone! Tell us what these green spaces in NUS mean to you and why you think they should be conserved and protected from further potential campus development! Be creative!
Send in your photos from 16 August to 3 September to greenus.photos@gmail.com.

Your photos will be showcased here on our website from 3 September onwards. Show support for your favourite photos by voting for them! Your votes count towards getting these photos to win!
Instructions
Aug 13th
- All photos are to be taken using Nokia phone models.
- Participants will have to send in their photos from 16 August 2010 to 3 September 2010 latest, together with their personal particulars (Name, Matriculation Number, Email Address, Contact Number) as well as the phone model used to take the photos.
- Participants can only send in up to 3 photos each.
- Send in the photos in JPEG file format of not more than 1MB.
- In addition, participants have to write a short title and caption for their photos, stating why the particular green space captured should be conserved and protected against future campus development.
- Failure to comply to the above instructions will result in the disqualification of the participants.
- Judging of the photos will be based on the votes accumulated by each photos individually and by a panel of judges from S.A.V.E and a member from OES.
- Winners will be notified via their personal particulars, thus do ensure that your particulars are accurate. We will require winners to be present on our closing ceremony on 10 September 2010 to receive their prizes from our GOH.
